If You Need an Interpreter at Your Hearing
If you have trouble understanding English and need an interpreter at your hearing, be sure to tell us your language (and dialect). You can do this when you request your hearing—just report your language (and dialect) when you call 1-800-952-5253 (TDD 1-800-952-8349) or when you complete the back of the Notice of Action (see the information at How to File a Hearing Request).
If you did not tell us your language (and dialect) when you requested your hearing, you may tell us by making a toll-free call to 1-800-743-8525 (TDD 1-800-952-8349). Tell us as soon as possible so we will have enough time to have an interpreter at your hearing.
