If You Live Outside California
You may request a hearing even if you are no longer a resident of the State of California.
As an out-of-state resident, you have three choices about your hearing. You may:
- return to California and attend your hearing
- ask your authorized representative to appear at your hearing on your behalf
- ask us to schedule your hearing as a telephone hearing
You may tell us which choice you prefer when you request your hearing.
If you do not tell us which of the three choices you want, we will schedule your hearing as a telephone hearing. Before your hearing, we will send you detailed instructions about telephone hearing procedures.
If your hearing is scheduled as a telephone hearing and you do NOT want a telephone hearing, you may ask us to schedule your hearing at a regular site by making a toll-free call to 1-800-743-8525 (Voice/TDD) or sending a letter to:
