Using This Site
The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Refugee Programs' Bureau (RPB) Web site administrators will keep you informed of any technical changes made to the site that affect user functionality. RPB Web Site Redesign:
The RPB web site has recently been redesigned to provide our customers with a more user friendly look and feel as well as to comply with the Governor's accessibility and uniformity standards. The improved site navigation was redesigned to help you find the information you need more easily and quickly. Web site content has been divided into main- and sub-tab categories located at the top of the home page. Additional page links are located on the left- blue and grey navigation menus. The main/sub-tabs, and the navigation menu are repeated on each page throughtout the site. The Site Map provides an index of information and material posted and linked from the main-tabs only. The home page address link remains the same -- www.cdss.ca.gov/refugeeprogram. All other page links have been renamed; therefore, you will need to update any of these links saved to your Favorites. Finding Information on the Site:
Use our "Search" feature located at the top- right of the screen. This feature can help you find information published within this site. You need only enter a word or a few letters to find what you're looking for. Then click the "search" button to see your search results. In addition, you can use the Site Map to view a list of web pages available within the site or Contact Us for further assistance.
Portable Document Format (PDF):
Throughout this web site there are various PDF file links that are included to provide our customers with more detailed information regarding special announcements and events, as well as standard reports, program and general information, and various contact lists. The PDFs can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This free program and instructions on its use can be obtained from the Adobe web site.

This site does not use cookies in any way. However, Active Server Pages (ASP) may still send a cookie to your machine. This is due to the way ASP communicates. You can refuse this cookie or turn cookies off in your browser and it should not interfere with the functionality of this site.
